I have been running so long.
Weary of wearing a clown's makeup.
Drained because I have to battle the roaring waves in my pond.
Weak from defending a breached castle.
Tired to have to hobble through the snow in my winter.
Afraid because reality seems too real.
Frustrated to smell spring which I cannot touch.
Wrecked as I watch myself becoming part of the autumn wind.
Mask cracks faster than I can put it together.
Fear that someone would see what is underneath it.
May tenacity favour me in this uncertainty.
May peace be with this defeated one.
